It was a beautiful day with a light wind from the southwest bringing some haze and clouds.

It was a beautiful day with a light wind from the southwest bringing some haze and clouds. The beach has been eroded and a great deal of wood either exposed or brought in on the tides. A few large trees were in the waves or recent additions on the sand. Nothing was visable at the driftline. There were 25 people with 4 dogs walking or running on the beach but only 7 cars in the parking lot. No gulls were around but a large number of shorebirds were nestled among the woody branches. No bird carcasses were found, and little human debris.

A nice bright day with a large group of birders from 30 cars looking for Snowy Plovers when I started but only 13 people walking or sitting on the beach on my way back.
