It was a blustery sunny day with 3 horse back riders and one walker on the beach. The restrictions for encouraging snowy plovers are now high enough to allow a long beach area to walk. The sand is high so little wood showing, and a very gradual slope to the water. Only two cars were in the parking area. There was no human debris and little wrack. No bird carcasses were found, and there were and only a few gulls and crows were braving the wind.

A nice bright day with a large group of birders from 30 cars looking for Snowy Plovers when I started but only 13 people walking or sitting on the beach on my way back.
