Report Details
The sky was mostly cloudy with some patches of fog and noticeable blobs of sea foam on wet sand. There were no signs of pollution or hazards present. The wrack line had logs and kelp knots, but no sign of fishing gear. There was, however, evidence that horses had been on the beach. There were two people riding fat wheel bicycles, mainly staying in the wet sand area. There were two young boys (under 10) who were left unattended at the shoreline with a puppy on a leash. They were unattended for close to 10 minutes, during that time they went into the water with the puppy on the leash. With the sneaker waves in the area during that time, this was dangerous. Two men in their 40s went into the water, waist deep for a significant period of time.
