22 people on the beach on a sunny day seemed relatively inactive: 8 sitting in cars, 1 fishing, 2 with dogs, others just walking the beach. Maybe it was too close to lunch time to be very busy.Beaches seemed quite clean, except for newspapers advertising Farmers' Markets and boxes of clothing found near beach grasses. I did not notice landscape changes as I'm still quite new to CoastWatch.Note graffiti on bank above "homeless camp" reported to Park Service. The bank has looked like since I began CoastWatch and long before, I think.

After waiting a time to see if anyone claimed the boxes, I called Oregon Parks and Recreation Devils Lake Campground Info Booth. Attendant said she'd contact the park ranger, who was presently in Tillamook.

It has been a very hard year for Lion's Mane jellies with large numbers of whole or almost whole jellies and pieces, large and small at the tide line. Enjoyed meeting a praying mantis and, hopefully assisting in its recovery from the tide.
