Significant changes specifically at NW 30th Street in front of Surftides Motel with exposed slabs, large rocks, gravel fields and huge boulders where only flat sand was before. Natural Changes

Significant rocks and gravel exposed/deposited at NW 30th in front of Surftides Motel, Lincoln City. Some huge (4'-8') rocks where there were no rocks before. Some have been washed back but some remain after almost 2 weeks. And, last 2 weeks, large slabs of rock were exposed at the tide line closer to bank than I've seen in over 8 years. Sand level is about 6' lower and exposing steps and borders at the cliff that had been covered before.

It has been a very hard year for Lion's Mane jellies with large numbers of whole or almost whole jellies and pieces, large and small at the tide line. Enjoyed meeting a praying mantis and, hopefully assisting in its recovery from the tide.
