Active midweek day in July. Fireworks debris continues but mostly cleaned up. Started up overcast but cleared to mostly sunny and low 60s. A number of what appeared to be day tents but one very substantial camping tent.

Number of people: 267. Number of dogs: 16. Walking or running: 143. Playing in surf: 15. Playing in sand: 10. Sitting: 27. Tidepooling: 52. Surfing: 2. Other Activities: 2 electric bikes, 2 traditional bikes, kites, 8 playing volleyball with net, tent camping. Continues to be a wonderful vehicle free zone!
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
Unusual concentration. Unusual concentration of mussels, various kinds of barnacles on beach just south of 26th Street rocks, stretching about 20-30 yards and then normal wash-up before and after. Photos attached.
