The beach was very clean with no dead birds or animals and almost no litter.

The beach was very clean with no dead birds or animals and almost no litter. Dog feces were numerous, as many people ignore the sign at the main entrance to the Dock Beach about picking up after your animals.A variety of people, including several children, were enjoying the beautiful day on the beach.
Conditions
Temperature: 60 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: -0.4 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 20. Number of dogs: 6. Walking or running: 10. Playing in surf: 6. Other Activities: children exploring rocky shore. At the "boneyard" above the Dock Beach several vehicles were parked, including two pickups pulling boats on trailers. People were mostly out of their vehicles, visiting. One man was working on his boat parked in a nearby spot.The dock was quieter than usual; boats can't come in or go out at low tides. Two men were walking, one man in a boat, apparently, his own. Four vehicles parked outside the store/restaurant. Fewer vehicles on the dock than usual.
Concerns
Climbing bluffs/seastacks
Apparent violations: Many local citizens do now want people climbing Battle Rock, a historical landmark. There is a sign at one point above this beach asking people not to climb it, but most access the beach in other locations..Vehicles

During a brief respite from rain, I found the Port busy withdrawing a boat from the harbor.
