All was quiet on the beaches. I was surprised to see the evidence that the new building above the beach was rearranging things down near the beach.

Small rocks, Shells, Animal casings or molts. No really noticable drift line

New Development

Bluff development. A new building going up just west of Battle Rock seems to have pushed some brush and rock down towards the shore. One mad seems to have actually reached the high water line. See photos.

Actions & Comments

I assume that because the uphill disturbances are really visible from the busiest area of town that officials are aware and approve.

Report Images

I did not notice anything of about this area before but it looks to me like maybe the builders are trying to put in a lawn and have pushed brush and soil down towards the beach
That big chunk of brush and soil is what looks new to me

Quiet on this beach today. There are always more dead birds here than on the Battle Rock Beach.

Beautiful day! Sunny clear blue skies (Tee shirt weather) about as good as it gets here. Beaches looked clean and in good shape.

Cloud cover broke as we were eating lunch prior to going into the beach. On the pocket beach by Battle Rock saw a dead tree looking ready to fall off Battle Rock, almost directly over where the tunnel exits onto that beach.

The beaches were pretty clean this visit except for an exceptional amount of small trees and branches up with the logs at high tide line. There was no one on the Port Beach but 3 different people used the picnic table at the Sailor memorial while I was there.
