Light activity at both Battle Rock and Dock Beach.
Report Details
Light activity at both Battle Rock and Dock Beach. On the dock people were busy with boats, hoisting boats, or working in the restaurant. Crab pots are stacked, awaiting the signal to start the season. Beautiful day.

Temperature: 40 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 0.8 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 18. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 4. Surfing: 1. Other Activities: working on dock or in restaurant. At Battle Rock beach a woman walked to the edge of the surf, carrying a young child. A boy, maybe 9, climbed Battle Rock twice. There is local concern about people climbing this. It is safe enough (his mother kept admonishing him to go more slowly coming down) but has a wellworn trail from the beach, where it rests, to the top. The three left and another person came down and entered the water with a surfboard.
