One of a string of calm, beautiful days at the beach here. Beach very clean, quiet. No problems noted.

Human Activities

Number of people: 8. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 2. Sitting: 1. Other Activities: 5 working on dock. I have three sections: the area around Battle Rock, the dock beach (or "dog" beach) and the dock at Port of Port Orford. The 25 vehicles were on the dock. They would belong to fishermen, dock workers, or the occasional (at this time of year) tourist.

Notable Wildlife

gulls in the surf; sanderlings or sandpipers or plovers (not sure of species)running in the surf. One sun star, possibly dead.
