Marine mammal survey training with Dr. Dawn Golay. Stranding report for juvenile Stellar sea lion, female. Had been dead for a bit before washing in. Apparent trauma to muzzle and back end. Apparent signs of predation by Cookie Cutter sharks.

Temperature: 70 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 2.7 feet.

During a brief respite from rain, I found the Port busy withdrawing a boat from the harbor.
