Report Details

A beached California sea lion, approximately 9' in length, was observed on the sand beach between Otter Crest and Devil's Punchbowl, an estimated 75-100' south of the trail entrance to the beach (not the stairs entrance), at the high drift line. This is not my regular mile, but I was surveying for beached seabirds as a COASST volunteer. I will try to return for a photo at my earliest convenience.
