I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf. The cliffs appeared to be stable, and there were no falling trees. I did see about 4 Brown Pelicans, 10 Harbor Seals sunning themselves, and some Western Gulls. p

Temperature: 62 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.
Human Activities
Most Visitors were taking pictures of Devil's Punchbowl area only. I saw no one over or going over the fences.

The day at Otter Rock (Devil's Punchbowl State Park) and Otter Crest Resort was clear and warm for January.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.
