The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal. I also saw about 25 Western Gulls, 2 Harbor Seals. and 3 Pelagic Comorants.

Temperature: 54 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: W. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.

7 visitors were on the beach walking and enjoying the the view, and taking pictures.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.
