It was a busy Sunday down at the Marine Gardens, mile 225.
Report Details
It was a busy Sunday down at the Marine Gardens, mile 225. Weather was nice, sunny and warm! Most individuals were tide pooling, walking on the beach or playing in the sand. This is my first report and especially worth noting the cliff above the beach and the erosion that has occurred throughout the winter. Large boulders have been deposited on the beach below, a large tree has fallen off the cliff onto the beach, and the notorious gorse on the north end of the cliff is starting to slide down.Gorse and scotch broom are present and have been spreading consistently. I have entered this info into the Oregon invasives hotline.
