Unusual to see so many people this time of the year. It was a delightful day, sunny after other rainy days and holiday vacation. Families from Kanas, Texas, Pantagonia the usual Utah, WA and CA.

Temperature: 51 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: -0.5 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 25. Number of dogs: 2. Tidepooling: 23. Other Activities: Last good low tide of the yer. Most everyone was enjoying the low tide and good weather.. No disturbances observed.

4 black oyster catchers foraging; ~15 seals at N end of mile; >12

Seaweeds and seagrass.
New Development
Tides this time of the year are daily at the cliff edge. Access from Marine Garden pathway still accessible but washed out with medium rocks at base.
Natural Changes
Normal sand movement along entire mile. Some large boulder movement at Devil's Punchbowl entrance, also normal with these tides at this time of the year.

The day at Otter Rock (Devil's Punchbowl State Park) and Otter Crest Resort was clear and warm for January.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.
