Lovely weather, sunny with mild to moderate breeze.People enjoying the tide pools but not bothering the seals. More than usual shells in the drifline.I was happy to see a mature bald eagle.Erosion was minimal after the winter. Very little trash and sand was really clean.

The day at Otter Rock (Devil's Punchbowl State Park) and Otter Crest Resort was clear and warm for January.

The was a lot of Ball Kelp on the beach, more than you would normally see, other than that everything appeared normal.

I saw only a few surfers on the beach below the Devils Punchbowl state park trying to surf, but there was not enough wave action to surf.
