Nice, sunny day for a beach walk.
Nice, sunny day for a beach walk. No major changes to this mile since the last report several years ago. Lots of large drifwood has collected just south of the South Shore development including several logs that I remember seeing several miles south over the past few years. A number of people enjoying a sunny christmas walk on the beach. All dogs were happy and well behaved.
Temperature: 45 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: E. Tide Level: 7.1 feet.
Number of people: 10. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 8. Playing in surf: 2.
Small rocks, Wood pieces.
Dune modification/removal. Access carved through dune in proximity of the South Shore Development

A pleasant day on the beach at very low tide which exposed one large tidal pool which hadn't seen before.
We usually access the beach via an entry at Surfland which hasn't been easy in the past.
1000s of washed up jelly fish and 1 washed up recently deceased sea lion
