Mile 185 Report

September 9, 2016
An uncomfortable day with such high wind.
Report Details
An uncomfortable day with such high wind. Very few people or birds. The sand has moved South so most of the cobbles were covered except along the bluff face. The tide was too high to see sea stars. The driftline had large quantities of small wooden pieces, gray and weathered. We usually don't see that. Nice whitecaps. 4 brave Harbor Seals on rocks at end.
Conditions
Temperature: 72 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Strong. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 2.3 feet.
