Report Details

A lovely day and the summer sand is still there making it easy to walk.  A lot of people (23)  with their dogs (11)  but most stayed in the first couple sections of the beach.  One group was flying kites.  The tide wasn't really low so we didn't see any seastars out on the rocks.   One section of the beach had a lot of small dead jellyfish but they had been there awhile so we couldn't tell which kind.  Not much wind. A very pleasant day to be there.

The day was very foggy so we didn't expect to see many birds but were very surprised to see 18 species, which has only happened two other times since 2003.
