Report Details

It was a lovely day, perfect weather, and the people were only in the first sandy part except for one agate hunter.  With no winter storms yet the summer sands were still there so the walking was easy.   The beach was quite clean.   All the baby jellyfish in the  driftline was very unusual.  They were all the same size, quite fresh looking, and went the whole length of the first sandy part of the beach.  After that it gets rocky and we didn't see any.   All the rocks in the water probably keep them from coming in.

The day was very foggy so we didn't expect to see many birds but were very surprised to see 18 species, which has only happened two other times since 2003.
