Report Details

A overcast windy day so not many people. The parking lot is plowed for the summer and the sand is again returning to cover the rocks on the beach. There were two piles of kelp entangled with plastic ropes but otherwise the beach was very clean. We saw several small sized crabs that had been eaten and lots of broken mussel shells in a couple areas among the rocks. A nice walk when the wind was at our back.

The day was very foggy so we didn't expect to see many birds but were very surprised to see 18 species, which has only happened two other times since 2003.
