Cobbles have blocked the main exit of Tenmile Creek so it now goes north and the mouth is in front of the old parking lot.

Cobbles have blocked the main exit of Tenmile Creek so it now goes north and the mouth is in front of the old parking lot. A nice change. It was a partly sunny day on a weekend so there were a lot of people. We saw several come in and leave as there was no room in the new smaller lot by 101. The walkway is closing in with vegetation and we see a lot more birds in that area now. The beach is still mostly cobbles except for the first sandy area where most of the people stay. Only the agate hunters seem to go farther along the beach. Hard walking on the rocks. The beach was very clean.

When we arrived in the parking lot it was almost full but people seemed to be leaving.

It was a lovely day but the sand is gone from all but the first part of the beach so the rest is cobbles, making it hard to walk.

The day was very foggy so we didn't expect to see many birds but were very surprised to see 18 species, which has only happened two other times since 2003.

A sunny, very windy day that brought out a lot of people to enjoy the beach, mostly staying in the first sandy area.

Florence had some rain but when we got to the mile it was just overcast and kept getting brighter.

A lovely day and the summer sand is still there making it easy to walk.
