Report Details

A sunny day so there were lots of people enjoying the beach.  There was one section of debris and tree trunks up against the bluff, probably from the king tide.   The rocks in the water most likely keep most of the from landing on the beach.  The tideline was pretty clean with only small colorful plastic pieces and woody bits.  The beach was mostly cobbles with the sand gone for now.  We saw 5 orange seastars out in the water.  The Yellow-rumped Warbler was a new bird for the mile.

The day was very foggy so we didn't expect to see many birds but were very surprised to see 18 species, which has only happened two other times since 2003.
