Mile 184 - N of Ocean Beach Picnic Area, S of Squaw Creek - December 31, 2020

Went down to Ocean Beach for the last day of 2020. We were the only ones visiting during our time there. Although it was not yet high tide, 8.6ft at 12:30pm, we were unable to get onto the beach. We stood and observed from the stairs watching driftwood get tossed along the beach. The shrubs lining the overlook and the path to the beach have been trimmed back substantially enhancing the view from all the picnic tables and making the walk to the stairs wider.
