It was a partly cloudy day on Ocean Beach. Although I was down on the beach at low tide, much of the north end of the beach was inacessible due to unpredictable wave action. There is a beach hazards report statement beginning this afternoon which I assume is affecting the tides and waves now. It's another reminder to be very aware on the beach always, but especially this time of year, as the waves can be dangerous. The change of seasons is evident on Ocean Beach, next month King Tides.
