Lovely day for beach walk! A few seagulls young and adult, one intact spine, see photo, one unidentified shell or piece of seaweed(?) see photo and a few large jellyfish.No motorized access Plover sign is just before Mile 153. Didn't hear or see any plovers.

Human Activities

A few people fishing on Mile 152. Truck parked on beach.

Notable Wildlife

About 10 seagulls, young and adult

Dead Fish or Invertebrates

3 jellyfish appear to be Moom Jellyfish spine 1/2 buried in sand - maybe baby seal? See photo. One large skate egg case.

Driftline Content

a few crab shells, shrimp molts and sand fleas.

Very foggy start to the walk, by the time we left the beach it was clear at 10:49am.

A beautiful sunny, windy day for a walk on the beach. Disturbing to see that an ATV had driven from past the north of our mile down to the bottom 1/4 of our mile in the Plover Nesting Protection zone.
