It was a lovely, windless and sunny morning, ideal for a beach walk.

It was a lovely, windless and sunny morning, ideal for a beach walk. Three other people, one with a dog, apparently agreed. Some bull kelp, scattered logs, crab molt, small stones marked the tideline. Gulls paced the wet sand and pelicans flew offshore.
