Report Details
I was not the only person walking this beach in the predawn dark on a calm day that became overcast. Some guy with a flashlight preceeded me in his quest for rocks. Another rock hound appeared later. At 6:15, not much wildlife was in evidence, though gulls and sanderlings appeared later. Surprisingly there was no litter. High-tide line showed small rocks, wood pieces, an occasional log, shell fragments, bull kelp and snatches of smaller kelp.
