Mile 103 Report
Bullards Beach just north of the Lighthouse
September 26, 2016
Heading north at 6:45 a.
Report Details
Heading north at 6:45 a.m. and 52 degrees with a mild north wind at mid-tide, we saw no one but encountered 4 men rock-hunting and one dog on the way back. Just gulls otherwise. Driftline was littered with tiny crabs, also Dungeness crab molts, seagrass, kelp, shell fragments, small rocks. No dead critters. Not much litter apart from plastic sheets and a new crab cage with rope and float attached. It was gone on my return. Summer winds and blowing sand have covered much of the driftwood, but they haven't eased the approximate 8-foot drop-offs on the beach access points.
