We noticed these little birds in the driftwood.
We noticed these little birds in the driftwood. They blended in so well we almost missed them. I didn't count them but there were a lot.In the first picture, you can see the Coquille River lighthouse; we were just north of the lighthouse.

Rock beds are the main attraction here, as 4 seekers with a dog at 6:30 a.
Two rock hunters, no wildlife, no litter were on this beach north of the Coquille River Lighthouse on an overcast chilly morning.
Rock hunters delight in this otherwise boring stretch of beach; 3 were mining away in a big bed of small stones despite heavy fog and their 4 at-large dogs.
I was not the only person walking this beach in the predawn dark on a calm day that became overcast.
