Report Details
Rain blowing in from the south at moderate strength made this beach walk an endurance test on a Sunday morning registering a mild 50. Not even the usual rock hounds were out, just me and the wee dogs. Several sanderlings scuttled ahead of the waves, but they were the only life forms visible. No litter but shell fragments, some bull kelp, small stones and pieces of wood marked the high line. A few huge logs have come in as well, but this mile remains clear of wood accumulations prevalent further south. Wave overtopping and erosion have not occured since my last outing here in January.

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Rain. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 0.5 feet.
