Man-made Modifications

Stream modification, New riprap or shoreline protection structures. Stream modification: Using this because of the obvious water/drainage caused by the Starfish Motel expansion. Small cat sitting on the edge of the bank and significant landslide down to the beach. Photos included. New shoreline protection: Large area newly covered with woven material, photos included, about 300 yards north of 15th Street auto access in Lincoln City. Additional disturbance at top of bank, closer to motel/condo, looks like preparation for more cloth to be dropped down the bank. Sand Removal: not sure about removal but new digging in the cave area just north of the Nordic. Cave is expanded, new piles of sand at top, tracks down to the beach. Photo included.

Natural Changes

Landslides/major boulder falls. See above, small landslide area at north end of Starfish Motel development.
