Mile 293 Report
Rockaway Beach, State Wayside
November 8, 2018
A particularly debris clean beach.
Report Details
A particularly debris clean beach...could have put all of the rope pieces, plastic bottles(2) and misc. paper and plastic stuff in a gallon freezer bag! Too bad there weren’t more people around to enjoy it...but lots of seagulls know a good beach when they see it. I give it a B+. No erosion so far this fall.

I observed new signs in Rockaway city proper, restricting using the public access to the beach at 1st and 2nd Avenues. Sign reads NO ACCESS: Until further notice, all city owned paths, walkways, stairs, and any other improved or unimproved access ways to recreation areas are closed.

Overall the beach looked pretty good for post king tides and fireworks.
