Found only 10 or 12 items of plastic, an empty sand bag, and about 10 feet of crab ring rope that I was able to untangle from sticks ,branches, and dried seaweed. I observed new signs in Rockaway city proper, restricting using the public access to the beach at 1st and 2nd Avenues. Sign reads NO ACCESS: Until further notice, all city owned paths, walkways, stairs, and any other improved or unimproved access ways to recreation areas are closed.
