Beach was pretty clean, just a few shells and rocks, mostly due to the current high tides.

Beach was pretty clean, just a few shells and rocks, mostly due to the current high tides. All the debris, both human and natural, was in the high tide line. Gathered one full bag of the usual stuff...cans, rope, plastic pieces, and styrofoam...mostly from boats. Nothing particularly unusual, except we found "Wilson" ('the soccer ball ⚽️ From the movie "Castaway"...finally home after all these years!

Temperature: 40 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Tide Level: 5.0 feet.

I love to see tourist families come down and enjoy the beach, but some use the beach as a party house and just leave a mess behind.

Surprised by huge quantity of kelp and lots of fishing industry garbage.

I submitted a report recently on a beach 245 miles to the South, mile 49, the Port beach in Port Orford, where I noticed many jellyfish washed up.
