Actions & Comments
The Cape looked good. We kept farther off shore due to higher bird numbers on the water and on the cliff. So we did not get a close look at the tidal zone or the numerous caves, but all looked good with more and healthier looking birds. They looked plump and we saw some with small fingerling-sized fish in their beaks. I didn't see any seals, but wasn't in the usual position in and around the large cave off the point to see them. The conditions were rough with rebounding waves and confused seas on the North side, miles 271 and 272. This area looked good, as well. Well's Cove was unapproachable.
