SOLVE DAY WOW We counted up to 20 people with SOLVE bags picking up on miles 256 aand 257. Thanks to all of them and to the organizers. How exciting to see so many volunteers working together! It was a clear, calm, sunny day and the tide was way out, exposing a great deal of beach. Not much nasty stuff so we worked on the piles of waste in the first bay on the south bank of the Nestucca River. Lots of small Styrofoam fragments. One tire, which we rolled halfway back, hoping others will carry it the rest of the way.
