No significant problems observed. Two vehicles in legal area. Small concentrations of gulls and seals at Nestucca Bay entrance.

Number of people: 17. Walking or running: 17. Five people, three dogs and two street vehicles observed on south tip of Straub spit.

Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt).
Actions & Comments
Approximately 30 gulls and at least 12 harbor seals observed in the water at Nestucca Bay entrance. Sand level at the Horizon trail is down about eight feet from summer levels, but replacement is occurring.
