Beach wide and relatively clean, very little styrofoam.
Report Details
Beach wide and relatively clean, very little styrofoam. Picked up a few water bottles, little other debris other than a pair of discarded beach shoes and short pieces of rope. Saw a few pieces of milled lumber heavily encrusted with bivalve mollusk shells.

Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: W. Tide Level: 8.0 feet.

One solitary pelican, two small flocks of pelicans.

Severe dune erosion causing many large shrubs and trees to fall onto the beach. Previous report in February showed dune cliff stable but receding.

Apparent crab exuvia - lots of Dungeness crab shells along the high-tide line and in the shallow mini-lagoons formed at low tide.
