Large dead tree on the water line.
Report Details
Large dead tree on the water line. Shore erosion to a consistent cliff - evidence the water is coming up to the cliff. Cliff is almost the entire length of the mile and has vegetation eroding off the edge. Cliff height 6-12 feet.

Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Tide Level: 0.9 feet.

Driftline Content
Small rocks, Wood pieces. One giant tree with root system (severely worn down - see photos).
Natural Changes
Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Erosion of vegetated foredune, Visible retreat of solid bluff. Dune is mostly a cliff with eroded shrubs. Cliff height varies between 6 to 12 feet. Covered most of the mile.

Severe dune erosion causing many large shrubs and trees to fall onto the beach. Previous report in February showed dune cliff stable but receding.

Apparent crab exuvia - lots of Dungeness crab shells along the high-tide line and in the shallow mini-lagoons formed at low tide.
