Very lovely weather and isolated beach.

Very lovely weather and isolated beach. The boundaries between the dunes and the beach are not as glaring (eroded vertical wall v. flat beach), but still a lot of evidence of winter storm erosion. Green vegetal matter evident at the high tide lines at thr north end of the mile.

Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: -0.3 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 3. Walking or running: 3. 3 other humans walking on the beach from Neskowin State Beach. Stopped on the south end of the mile to sit.
Notable Wildlife
Turkey vultures riding the thermals. 7-8 in total.
Driftline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass.
Natural Changes
Erosion of vegetated foredune. Erosion from winter storms is still evident. Dunes are starting to blend with the beach.

Severe dune erosion causing many large shrubs and trees to fall onto the beach. Previous report in February showed dune cliff stable but receding.

Apparent crab exuvia - lots of Dungeness crab shells along the high-tide line and in the shallow mini-lagoons formed at low tide.

Juvenile bald eagle flew northbound just before the sighting of the gull.
