Second day of January 2021 King Tides.The expected Erosion between normal 75 feet from beach access to Cliff Top happened. It will mean several minutes delay between photos as I have to retrace up to "Grand Central" and then back down to Cliff Top.The tidal surge was mostly reaching the normal 75 ft. mark--however there was one surge that forced me to the 100 foot mark. Never turn your back on the ocean.One other note. I will shortly change my “Cliff Top” position. I could “feel” the surf pounding at present location. And the change of location will probably make the photos looking north to 68th street no longer showing the houses located there.

King Tides Day.NOAA and weather info:High Tide of 10.1 Ft at 11:01AM. Surf Height 22-27 Ft.Wind is 18 mph with gusts up to 32 mph. Although I marked it as “Cloudy” there was a very light mist. My rain gauge showed 0.02 inch in the half hour I went to beach and back.MAJOR NOTE: The path from normal 75 ft. mark to Top of Cliff had major erosion today--it is GONE as safe way.

A sad day for Mile 220, although the weather was amazing it was super hard and sad to see the tar globs in the mid-section of my mile.
