New sign up at the Schooner South beach access off 68th St warning of Contaminated waters. BWTF w/ Surfrider have been measuring this contamination for awhile now.
Conditions
Temperature: 70 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light.
Actions & Comments
I have emailed and called City of Newport Public Works Dept to attempt to schedule a meeting to discuss the contamination, especially in light of the substation put in for this reason a few years ago. I have not had a response back as of yet.

A sad day for Mile 220, although the weather was amazing it was super hard and sad to see the tar globs in the mid-section of my mile.
