Report Details
A large amount of debris, 7 large wood/foam panels and lots of pieces of all sizes of foam. I texted Ryan Parker as there were 2 areas of foam that people had gathered both at the 68th St access trash can and at the stairs leading from the motorcoach area as well as the large wood/foam pieces that were tooheavy and awkward to move very far (many with rusted nails in them). Ryan said that he has been cleaning parts of this container up since Thursday on North Jetty. He appreciated the heads-up about the location and amount to be retrieved from Schooner South. A COASST marine debris survey was done during this CoastWatch mile walk.
