A wrackline filled with eelgrass, jellies and crab carapaces.
Report Details
A wrackline filled with eelgrass, jellies and crab carapaces. Also a dead young harbor seal noted by the South end where the houses are over the bluff. 3 Turkey Vultures were nicely starting to clean it up for us.

Fire
Apparent violations: A few fire pits above the high tide line, one that had been covered with sand but was still warm..Vehicles
Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 9. Primarily COMU but also a Pouchbill.
Wrackline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings or molts. Lots of eelgrass and jellies. Also a dead harbor seal.
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls, Major cracks appearing in bluffs, Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Visible retreat of solid bluff.

There's a new deceased sea lion, about 1/4 of mile south from the 68th St access point, not too far from another now-decayed one that washed up about three weeks ago.

Four large debris items washed up: pallet at south end of beach, and a long wood slab, approx 6 foot long black plastic piece, and waterlogged foam around halfway of mile 220.

A sad day for Mile 220, although the weather was amazing it was super hard and sad to see the tar globs in the mid-section of my mile.
