Mile 214 - South Beach SP, South Jetty Yaquina River - January 3, 2022

King Tide 10.5 feet No way able to do a beach walk today...arrived about 20 minutes after high tide. Water just going over road on the South Jetty. Logs and debris up to the small dunes and vegitation zone....foam up to the vegitation zone....unwalkable! But was able to go to the start of Post 61 and take pictures of the aftermath. No one on the beach and 2 cars parked in the South Jetty parking space.

Temperature: 43 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 10.5 feet.

South Beach SP, South Jetty Yaquina River

I walked on the SB state park beach from the disabled access platform area to the south jetty. This beach is not my coast watch mile. I entered 4 pm where time of arrival (but not departure) not because that's when i arrived on the beach, I doubt if it was.
