A typical winter day.
Report Details
A typical winter day...rain and mild wind. Lots of logs in the upper zones in the north part of the mile, mixed with large sand deposits and logs, with some human made wood pieces and microplastics. No beach birds or mammals found. Lots of sea lion action in the bay to the north jetty counted about 10 sea lions, but can't count it officially as it isn't strictly part of the mile.

Temperature: 43 F. Cloud Cover: Rain. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 0.6 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 2. Surfing: 2. 4 cars parked in parking area next to south jetty....but only saw 2 people surfing the entire walk.

20 snowy plovers towards south of mile in suf line appx 50 gulls in surf line middle of mile

Erosion of vegetated foredune, Visible retreat of solid bluff.
Actions & Comments
Just the changes one would see from summer to winter and approching spring. Large log and sand deposits and erosion of foredunes.
