Human Activities
Saw a group of nine foraging sanderlings (a “grain”, I just learned) chased off by a curious child walking the timeline. His parents were close by and didn’t say anything, serving as another example of the huge opportunity there is to educate the public on respecting declining species.
Actions & Comments
I walked most of the mile and didn’t see any snowy plovers. Much less trash than a month ago, but still filled a small bag without much effort.
