At the State Park were six cars parked, and at the beach were fourteen people, six dogs, people walking dogs and writing their names in the sand, one flying a kite.

At the State Park were six cars parked, and at the beach were fourteen people, six dogs, people walking dogs and writing their names in the sand, one flying a kite. Five people were watching the ocean from the platform for the handicapped. The beach was relatively clean. Sand had been piling up towards the dunes. The outgoing tide made for a wide strip of beach for walking. A bald eagle was flying overhead.
